Anchor Chronometer A. Lange & Söhne, Glashütte i/Sachsen, Deutsche Uhrenfabrikation, No. 72251. Made circa 1914. Very fine and rare, hunting-cased, keyless, 14K gold, pocket lever chronometer with Guillaume balance. Accompanied by the original fitted box and original certificate. Four-body, "Lucia", solid, polished, the front cover engraved with a monogram, the back engraved with two armorial shields. Hinged gold cuvette with engraved dedication. Three-piece white enamel with dauphine numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds dial. Yellow gold Louis XVI hands.
