Very fine and rare, minute-repeating, 18K pink gold and polychrome enamel pocket watch, the cover with the arms of Visconti Turati. Accompanied by the original initialled box and the Extract from the Archives. Four-body, “demi-bassine”, polished, the back cover decorated in polychrome enamel with the coat of arms of Turati beneath a Viscount’s coronet. Hinged gold cuvette engraved “Vittorio Turati” beneath a coronet. White enamel with dauphine numerals, outer minute track, red painted Arabic numerals, subsidiary seconds with red 10-second numerals. Gold Louis XV hands. 18’’’, rhodium-plated, fausses cotes decoration, 31 jewels, counterpoised straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, swan neck micrometer regulator, repeating on gongs activated by a slide on the band.
