After Hippolyte Delaroche (French, 1797-1856), "Portrait of Emperor Napoleon the First in His Office", miniature portrait on porcelain, apparently unsigned. An ovular miniature portrait depicting the French Emperor in profile wearing blue officer's coat with gold epaulets and with short cropped hair, presented in a gilt brass reeded frame with crossed ribbons. Approximately 4.25" x 3". Provenance: From the Estate of Mary L. Haugk, Lawrenceville, Georgia.
