Yellow Gold Ref. 3372 Rolex, Oyster Perpetual, Officially Certified Chronometer, Ref. 3372. Made in the early 1940s. Very fine, center seconds, self-winding, water-resistant, tonneaushaped, 18K yellow gold wristwatch with an 18K yellow gold Rolex Oyster expansion bracelet. Three-body, polished and brushed, domed screwed down case-back and crown, ribbed graduated bezel. Matte silver with applied yellow gold Arabic numerals and dart indexes, concentric 1/5th seconds track with 5-minute/second Arabic markers. Yellow gold feuille hands. Notes Rolex, Ref. 3372 This watch was always sold accompanied by a "Bulletin de Marche". The stainless steel models are slightly different from the steel/gold and gold ones. In 1940, the cost of the centerseconds model was higher than the those with small seconds.
