New England Sheraton secretary desk, ca. 1820 , in 3 parts, the upper section with a shaped pediment joining 5 plinths, the central plinth with a gilded eagle finial, over 2 glazed doors above a middle section with 3 doors opening to a fitted interior above a lower section with a writing surface over a single drawer and 2 cupboard doors flanked by bottle drawers, resting on turned and reeded legs, 87" h., 40" w. (feet restored).
