Lettre d’Amour International Watch Co. , Schaffhausen, No. 241592. Made circa 1910. Very fine, 14K rose gold, hunting-cased keyless pocket watch with relief decorated case. Accompanied by a fitted box and a gold chain. Four-body, “pomme et filet”, the front cover decorated with an engraved scene of a young lady reading a letter to her companion in a garden, the back cover decorated with foliage in relief and central engraved monogram, polished borders. Hinged gold cuvette. White enamel with Arabic numerals, outer minute track and Arabic five-minute numerals, subsidiary seconds dial. Gold Louis XVI hands.
