Thin Center Seconds with Calendar Made in Geneva, circa 1820. Fine and rare, 18K rose gold pocket watch with center-seconds and triple date calendar. Two-body, “Empire”, polished, concave bezel and back border. White enamel, an eccentric meantime chapter set to the lower half with Arabic numerals, outer minute divisions, center-seconds with second divisions and Arabic 15 second numerals, subsidiary dials for the date, days of the week and months with number of days in the month. Gold Louis XV hour and minute hands, blued steel seconds hand. 53 mm, hinged, gilt brass full plate with engine-turned decoration, going barrel, cylinder escapement, 3-arm brass balance with jeweled pivots, blued steel flat balance spring, lever at 5 for start/stop.
