Chinese, QIng Dynasty Tongzhi Period mark (1862-1874) and of the period. A Famille Rose porcelain bowl in the form of a lotus blossom and raised on a round foot, the body with subtly scalloped sides decorated with hand painted enamel roosters in a landscape with many flowers and two butterflies, the shaped rim with gilt and the interior with allover teal blue glaze. Undersided with a hand painted red four character Tongzhi imperial reign mark surrounded by a field of teal blue glaze. Approximate height 2.125", diameter 5".
