Independent Center-Seconds & Diablotine Jules Emmery, Sagne. Made circa 1860. Very fine and rare, two-train, silver pocket watch with independent center-seconds and quarter-second diablotine. Four-body, “bassine et filet”, polished, stopbutton in the pendant for the center-seconds and diablotine. Hinged silver cuvette. hite enamel, radial Roman numerals, outer minute track, outermost seconds track, subsidiary quarter-second diablotine. Blued steel Breguet hands. 44 mm., rhodium plated, fausses cotes and star decoration, two-train, 23 jewels, the escapement pivots with gold jewel caps, counterpoised lateral lever escapement with elongated fork, cut bimetallic compensation balance with adjustment screws, blued steel flat balance spring, index regulator. Dial signed. Diam. 53 mm. Notes Jules Emmery Working in La Sagne in the mid-19th century.
