Accompanied by the original fitted box. Two-body, “Louis XV”, chased bezel and border with a repeated pattern, the back decorated with an oval classical scene representing fidelity of a dog and two doves with classical ruins and flowers, a quiver and bow on the ground. Chatelaine decorated with a winged female term in high relief with varicolored flowers and foliage on the main panel, lower panels with applied trophies and foliage. hite enamel with radial Roman numerals, outer dot minute divisions and Arabic fiveminute numerals. Gold Louis XV hands. 24 mm., frosted gilt, full plate, conical pillars, fusee with chain, verge escapement with threearm brass balance and flat balance spring, micrometric potence adjustment, continental pierced foliate balance cock with steel endplate, silver regulator dial. Dial and movement signed. Diam. 30 mm. Approx. overall length 160 mm.
