Extremely fine and very rare, minute-repeating, 18K yellow gold, keyless pocket watch with perpetual calendar, chronograph and moon phases. Four-body, "bassine", polished. Hinged gold cuvette. Matte silver, black champleve Arabic numerals, outer minute track with five-minute Arabic numerals, outermost fifth of a second chronograph divisions, subsidiary dials for the days of the week, the months, leap year cycle, the date and the seconds with inner moon phase aperture, engineturned center. Blued-steel pear and lozenge hands. 19’’’, gilt brass, 36 jewels, wolf’s tooth winding, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator, repeating on gongs activated by a slide on the band, chronograph with visible work and co-axial button on the winding crown for start/stop/return-to-zero fuctions. Dial, case, cuvette and movement signed. Diam. 53 mm Notes Le Roy & Fils, later L. Leroy & Cie., which was established first in Palais Royal, Galerie Montpensier, and after 1900, at 7 Boulevard de la Madeleine.
