Very fine, center-seconds, self-winding, water-resistant to 100 meters / 330 feet, 18K yellow gold and diamond wristwatch with date and an 18K yellow gold Cartier buckle. Accompanied by a fitted box. Three-body, solid, polished, transparent case back with 8 screws, concave bezel, Vendome type lugs, cabochon diamondset winding-crown with screwed-down protective cap, sapphire crystals. Guilloché two-tone silver with 8 round diamond-set indexes and applied yellow gold radial Arabic numerals, aperture for the date between 4 and 5, concentric minute track on a square plain reserve. Yellow gold feuille hands. Cal. 500 MC, gilt brass, decoration and engraved plates with the Cartier logo, 26 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance, shock absorber, self-compensating flat balance spring. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 32 mm. Thickness 9 mm. Notes The Cartier Pasha was created in 1985 and inspired by a 1943 design. It was named in honor of the Pasha of Marrakesh, a wellknown lover of Cartier watches. Several different watches of this type were produced: with or without glass-protecting bars, with engraved revolving bezel, with regular or perpetual calendar, with minute repeating mechanism, with chronograph, with two time zone dial etc.
