Lapis Art Deco Clock Must de Cartier, No. 65027. Made circa 1980. Fine gilt brass and lapis quartz clock, made in the style of the Art Deco clocks. Accompanied by its original fitted box and instruction booklet Lapis and gilt brass with geometric folding strut. Champagne with sunburst pattern. Black Art Deco hands. With quartz standardization Case and dial signed. Dim: 130 x 130 x 22 mm. Notes This clock is brand new and appears never even to have been taken out of its box. In the 1980s Cartier decided to revive the splendor of its finest Art Deco creations with these desk/alarm clocks. Among those re-created were the famous Basculante and Tryptyque clocks. All featured typical Art Deco forms, colors, and materials.
