Very fine and rare, stainless steel wristwatch with a two-tone dial and a stainless steel Patek Philippe buckle. Accompanied by a special mahogany fitted box, certificate and commemorative medal. Two-body, polished and brushed, flat bezel, concave lugs, screwed-down case back with special engraving of the Geneva Patek Philippe boutique and inscription "1839, 1892, and 2006." Twotone silver with applied Arabic numerals and indexes, subsidiary seconds dial. Luminous dart hands. Cal. 215, stamped with the Seal of Geneva Quality Mark, rhodium-plated, fausses cotes decoration, 18 jewels, straight line lever escapement, free-sprung Glucydur Gyromax balance adjusted to heat, cold, isochronism and 5 positions,shock absorber, self-compensating flat balance spring. Notes In December 2006 Patek Philippe held a reception celebrating the re-opening of the Patek Philippe store on the Quai General Guisan, which had been closed for two years for renovation. At this party they announced the creaton of two watches: Ref. 5105 in platinum and Ref. 5565 in steel. Both watches were made in limited quantities; 100 examples for reference 5105 and 300 examples for reference 5565.
