Leroy a Paris, No. 1474. Made circa 1750. Fine, Louis XV, 20K gold pocket watch. Two-body, “Louis XV”, entirely decorated with radial and wavy-line engine-turning. White enamel with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track and Arabic five-minute numerals. Gold Louis XV hands. 38 mm., frosted gilt, pentagonal baluster pillars, fusee and chain, verge escapement with micrometric potence adjustment, three-arm steel balance, flat balance spring, continental-type balance cock pierced and engraved with a geometric pattern, polished steel endplate, silver regulation dial. Dial and movement signed. Diam. 47 mm.
