Chinese, 20th century, possibly earlier. A matched pair of Chinese porcelain covered urns, jars or vases converted into table lamps, in the Famille Rose palette, each with dome shaped lid having a with gilt accented finial and decorated with diaper patterning, flowers, scholarly objects and landscape with similar decoration to the neck, the baluster body with courtly figures in landscape settling amidst flowering peonies, chrysanthemums and prunus along with water, mountains, rockwork, cloud scroll and pagoda. Marked to the base with six character mark. Both lamps accompanied with Artemis Studio shades. One urn removed from stand with lid unglued for examination. Approximate height of urn 13.5", approximate height of lamp 27.25" (base to top of harp finial), width of base 5.75", depth of base 7.75".
