Nepalese & Indian, 20th century. Group of two traditional kukri style knifes with curved blades comprising of one with carved wood handle with diamond on pommel, engraved leather scabbard and additional two smaller knives; and one with stained wood handle accented in brass and silvered dots, brass lion's head pommel, blade with ox or cow foot notches, protected by leather case with brass tip, also with two additional small knives held in leather case on exterior (chakmak and karda). Length of diamond pommel sword (in case) approximately 9.75". Length of lion's head pommel sword (in case) approximately 10.25". Note: Alternate spelling of khukuri are khukri, and kukkri.
