English, late 19th century. Queen Anne style oak armchair with an arched crestrail above a solid vasiform splat with gooseneck arms enclosing the custom upholstered seat raised on front cabriole legs terminating in pad feet. Approximate height 39.25", width 23.5" (arm to arm), seat depth 17.5", seat height 16.5". Provenance: From the Estate of Ambassador Armour & Princess Myra Kourdacheff.
