Ch. Oudin, Palais Royal 52, Paris, circa 1860. Very fine 18ct. three-colour gold, silver and enamel watch and chatelaine, probably presented as a marriage gift. Chatelaine with conjoined armorial surmounted by a Ducal crown on the clip, set with stones and suspending two chains for the seal and key. Four-body watch case with an allegory of music in vari-coloured gold on the back. Reeded back and gold cuvette. White enamel with Roman numerals. Blued-steel Breguet hands. GiIt brass, bar caliber, 10 jewels, with cylinder escapement and plain balance with flat spring. Signed on the cuvette. In very good condition. Diam. 28 mm. Overall length 200 mm. This lot is sold with two 18ct gold 19th. century chatelaines.
