Exceptional 20ct. gold enamel and moss agate à toc quarter-repeating watch with matching chatelaine, key and seal. wo body, engraved with a matted and graduated trellis pattern, and enamelled in high relief basse-taille technique with foliage and in ronde-bosse with multicoloured flowers, the back inset with oval panels of moss agate. All gold chatelaine, the clip suspending four plaques and all decorated in the same techniques, with original key and seal engraved with a coat-of arms. Notes The watch bears the maker's mark for Julien Quévanne, master in 1714, and the chatelaine the décharge marks in use between 1750 and 1756.
