Anonymous, Genève, the enamel probably by Pierre Huaud the father, circa 1660. Rare and fine early 20 ct. gold and enamel, small watch. Double body bassine with split bezel and loose-ring pendant, painted overall, the principal scene depicting a loving couple with a cupid, framed by a garland of flowers "en grisaille", the frieze of the band with four small landscapes. A landscape painted "en grisaille inside the case on the enamel backing. White enamel chapter with Roman numerals, the center with a painted landscape. Fine gold single hand. GiIt brass full plate with turned baluster pillars, the back plate engraved with a flower. Three wheel train with fusee and gut line, ratchet wheel set-up, gilt brass florally pierced and engraved decoration, verge escapement with plain steel balance without balance spring, florally pierced and engraved oval gilt brass cock, secured by a screw.
