Paul Jeannot, Genève, No. 6295, made for the Spanish or the South American market, circa 1890. Very fine 18 ct. gold, keyless watch with independent seconds. Five body, massive, bassine et filets, fully chased, a fine composition engraved on the back, with a white gold inlaid half length portrait of Homere. Golcl engraved and engine-turned cuvette. Silver with a cast gold floral decoration, Roman numerals and subsidiary seconds. Blued steel spade hands. Glazed, 19—, nickel plated, à vagues, decoration, double train with differential winding, 34 jewels in golcl screwed settings, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring. The independent second push piece on the winding crown. Signed on the dial, case and movement. In very good condition. Diam. 55 mm.
