Doyhanart (Bernard), French or Belgian, circa 1830 Very unusual wall-mounted regulator, with a weightdriven pivoted detent escapement and remontoire, calendar, equation of time and centre-seconds. Now fitted in a rosewood veneered and ebonised moulded case with integral bracket and ogee top with urn finial. Square brass plates with going-barrel, wound by a lever and pull-cord. Pivoted detent escapement with weight driven remontoire. Steel and gilt-brass gridiron pendulum. Signed on the pendulum and dial. In good condition. Dims. 700 x 200 x 140 mm.
