Tapering rectangular body in gold, the sides and back inlaid with panels of flowers in the shubiyama style in lapis, agate, gold and mother-of-pearl, with applied diamond-set hardstone flowers and signed with initiais, the borders of scarlet and black enamel with diamondset fans; suspended from three smooth link chains, withmatching brooch pin decorated en suite, the dial surround enamelled with stylised black champleve patterns. Frosted silver with Arabic numerals and minute marks. Blued-steel Breguet hands. 10-, nickeled, 15 jewels, lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring, 5 adjustments. Dial and movement signed Vacheron & Constantin, case stamped with Verger, Paris mark. In very good condition. Dims 82 x 38 mm.
