Anonymous, French, circa 1900. Fine gilt bronze hour repeating carriage clock with unusual quarter striking train. Anglaise riche, with Corinthian columns, used in conjunction with bronze low relief side panels, depicting woodland deities, dancing on the left, playing the flute, on the right. Bronze with Arabic numerals, and gilt decoration in the Renaissance style. GiIt brass fleurs de lys hands. Rectangular, with going barrels, frosted and silvered platform with straight line lever escapement, uncut bimetallic balance, flat balance spring. Striking the hours and one blow every quarter, also repeating the hours at will on one gong. In good condition. Dim. 16 x 10,5 x 9 cm.
