John Taylor, Rochdale, hallmarked 1892. Fine silver Williams patent No. 4762, keyless fast train stop-watch. Three body, bassine et pommes, polished, the back engraved with a cartouche. Silver cuvette. Egg-shell enamel, with Roman numerals, outerArabic ring divided for two second per revolution, and sunk subsidiary seconds. Gold spade hands. 22—, frosted and gilt, three quarter plate, 15 jewels in screwed settings, lateral lever escapement, plain brass three armed balance, ruby endstone and flat balance spring. Signed on the dial and the back plate. In very good condition. Diam. 59 mm.
