Cartier, Paris, No. 19619, made in the 1920's. Fine and elegant Art-Deco, 18 ct. gold and enamel moon-stone set, keyless "gouvernail" dress watch. Three piece, massive, "variée carrure carrée", enamelled in black with champleve decoration, the back centered with initiais "L. L. S. ", the band and winding crown set with moon stone cabochons. Silver satine with Roman numerals. Blued steel Breguet hands. Notes "Gouvernail" is the terni used in the manufacturing records to describe this type of watch.
