Cartier, Paris, No. 3804-2624, made in the 1910's. Very elegant 18 ct. gold and enamel, keyless " couteau" dress watch. Three piece, knife edge, the bezels with blue enamelled decoration in a Wedgwood pattern, the back engine-turned, centered with an enamelled decoration, matching that of the bezels. Engine-turned with Arabic numerals. Blued steel Breguet hands. Notes "Couteau" is the terni used in the manufacturing records to cescribe this type of case with knife edge.
