Cartier, Paris, No. 5718-19457, made in the 1920's. Elegant 18 ct. gold and enamel, Art Deco keyless dress watch, entered in the Register in the 1930's. Three piece, massive, "carrure carrée", with reecled band, the polished back with painted champleve enamelled Assyrian warriors and stylized flowers. Silver engine-turned with a small Roman hour chapter ring and outer Arabic minute ring, on the border of the bezel. Blued steel "oriental" Cartier hands.
