Cartier, Paris, No. 15521-272, entered in the Register on 22 March 1925. Very elegant 18 ct. gold, keyless "guillotine" dress watch "à volets". Three piece, massive, "bassine pincée", polished, the cover with a small dial aperture disclosed by shutters flipping open or closed by depressing a button on the winding crown, black champleve enamelled initiais "H. R. " on the shutters. Silver engine-turned with Roman numerals. Blued steel Breguet hands. Notes "Guillotine" is the terni useci in the manufacturing records to describe this type of watch.
