Julien Le Roy à Paris, made for the Dutch market, circa 1770. Fine silver pair cased hour and half hour striking and repeating coach watch. Outer silver, shagreen covered a pierced and engraved silver rosette applied on the back. Inner double body, with articulated pendant, pierced and engraved with formai decoration. Silver champleve with Roman numerals and outer Arabic minute ring with arched divisions (later). GiIt brass Louis XV hands. GiIt brass full plate with turned conical pillars, fusee with chain, verge escapement, plain brass three arm balance, flat balance spring and gilt brass continental Louis XV cock with blued steel end-piece. Striking and pull repeating on a bell, the striking train with a fixed gilt brass barrel, engraved with decoration. Signed on the dial and back plate. In good condition. Diam. 100 mm. Interessante orologio da carrozza con suoneria al passaggio delle ore e delle mezze, ripetizione , a doppia cassa in argento. In buone condizioni.
