Thomas Mudge, No. 389, circa 1760. Very fine gold and enamel pair-cased quarter-repeating watch with chatelaine en suite. Outer, double body entirely engraved with pattern of wavy lines and decorated with flowers and foliage in blue translucent bassetaille enamel (makers mark H.T.), the chatelaine decorated en suite with steel-backed clip suspending three panels and two chains. Inner, double body, pierced and engraved with inhabited foliage and grotesque mask. White enamel, Roman hour and Arabic minute numerals. "Louis XV" gilt hands (replacements).
