Neo-classical cast brass and ormolu mounted mantle clock made for the American market by Jean Baptiste Dubuc, Paris, ca. 1810 , with a full standing figure of George Washington with sword and document next to a plinth with a round porcelain dial, inscribed "Dubuc Ave Michele-6-Comte-No 33 A Paris" within a rope twist bezel, above the face is a spread winged eagle and below is an applied swag form plaque, inscribed "Washington, The First in War, First in Peace, and in His Countrymen's Hearts" all resting on an oblong plinth with a mask and foliate form applique resting on bun feet, 15" h., 10" w.(eagle of a later date).
