Swiss, bearing the signature Breguet à Paris, circa 1790. An unusual and slim 18 ct. gold and enamel watch with tortoiseshell protecting case. Double body with ribbed white enamel bezels (old repairs), the back with a lakeside landscape scene. White enamel, with vertically placed Roman numerals, now with single blued-steel hour hand. Extra slim, full plate with engraved barrel bridge and cock, cylinder escapement, plain 3-arm brass balance, flat spring and engraved cock, with polished steel end piece. Signed dial and movement. In good condition. Diam. 55mm.
