Anonymous, Swiss, circa 1810. Fine 18 ct. gold, enamel and pearl-set "mandolin" form watch. Two piece, sound board decorated with black champleve enamel and split pearls, hole revealing the balance cock. Gold wire strings and split pearl pegs, the back with lobed panels of scarlet enamel and pearl scrolls. White enamel, Arabic chapters. Gold "spade" hands. Gilt brass full plate, fusee with chain, verge escapement, plain balance, pierced continental cock with polished end plate. In excellent condition. Dim. 59mm. overall length
