Anonymous, 1870 ca. Extraordinary gold and enamel "tulip" form watch with matching chatelaine. Designed as four closed petals in multi coloured enamels opening to reveal the watch. Chatelaine with matt engraved two colour gold leaves and enamel bud. White enamel, Roman chapters. Blued-steel "spade" hands. Oval, giIt Geneva bar, 10 jewels, cylinder escapement, plain balance, flat spring. In excellent condition. Dim. 88mm. overall length.
