Fine and rare, 18ct gold, "World Time", gentleman's wristwatch. massive, polished, revolving bezel bearing the names of 41 towns in the world, drop-shaped lugs. mat silver with applied gold Roman nurnerals, concentric, revolving dial in 24 hours bearing the nocturnal and diurnal hours. Hand engraved bezel. Gold fancy lugs. Notes A similar watch is published in "Patek Philippe Wristwatches", page 187. This World Time system has been invented and executed for Patek Philippe by Louis Cottier who also supplied such watches for Agassiz and Vacheron & Constantin.
