Unused, eight day going, domestic timepiece chronometer, in rectangular solid-silver London Hallmarked case rotatable upon a weighted, castsilver base, patterned to resemble waves. Original black calf, lockable, travelling box, lined in red, and with winding-key compartiment. Original keys for winding and lock. Test Report. Grained-silver, glassed four sides and top, slideup rear door. Grained-silvered brass, Roman chapters, seconds, "up-and-down" dial, blued steel hands. Notes Note: No 3 of a limited edition of 30 of these costly and wonderful modern chronometer-clocks were made. This example comes complete with a test certificate issued by the National Physical Laboratory, Teddington, England, in March 1975, and recording a very good performance.
