Léchopié Jeune à Paris, circa 1810. Fine gilt and patinated bronze eight day going, hour and half hour striking Empire dock designed as an urn. Gilt bronze rectangular base on four bun feet with applied basket of flowers on the front and palm leaf decoration on sicle panels, the urn with octagonal patined body with applied gilt bronze arrows on border of the engine-turned bezel the front base applied with two swans flanking and drinking from a basin, the sides with a laurel wreath pierced by crossed arrows, top with single foot basin supported by animal headed handles set on caryatids. White enamel with Roman numerals. Gilt brass pierced and chased hands. Brass circular with going barrel on both trains, anchor escapement, short pendulum with silk suspension. Striking on a bell with count wheel on the back plate. Signed on the dial. In very good condition. Dim. 42 x 15 x 11 cm.
