Charles Oudin, Horloger de la Marine, 52 Palais Royal, Paris, No. 29204, circa 1880. Fine 18 ct. gold, keyless quarter repeating, dead independent centre seconds watch. Three body, massive, "bassine et filets", polished, the back engraved with the monogram "E. H.E.". Hinged gold cuvette with subsidiary inscription: "Médaille aux expositions depuis 1806" . White enamel with Roman numerals and outer Arabic minute and centre seconds ring. Gold " spade" hands.
