Not signed, French, circa 1815. Gilt brass, double portico calendar, hour and half hour striking 8 day going mantle regulator with centre seconds. Rectangular gilt brass base with bun feet and rabetted returns to the central, veined green marble plinth with applied gilt brass central decoration. Four plain cylindrical columns set on square bases with band ad dot decoration to the base and arcaded capitals. Arched top over the cylindrical movement, with with a frieze of palm fronds. White enamel with Roman numerals, outer minute and seconds ring and inner calendar chapter. Blued steel Breguet hands. Brass circular with going barrels both for the going and the striking train, pin-wheel escapement set on the back plate, half second beating gridiron pendulum with knife edge suspension. Striking on a bell with count wheel on the back plate. In very good condition. Dim. 55 x 35 x 17 cm.
