Not signed, circa 1830. Fine gilt bronze 8 day going portico clock. Stepped, double rectangular base with arcaded return, engraved bun feet, and elongated central foliate decoration applied to the otherwise plain upper part. Two banded columns with chased horizontal floral decoration in layers distinguished by alternating plain bands, set on square bases, and surmounted by a plain capped plinth decorated with five applied rosettes. Gilt brass engine-turned with Roman numerals on cartouches. Blued steel Breguet hands. Gilt brass circular, "mouvement de Paris" type, with going barrel, anchor escapement, sun pendulum with silk suspension. In very good condition. Dim. 43 x 21 x 9 cm.
