Double body outer, the bezel chased with floral and rocaille decoration, the back pierced and repousse in high relief with a neo-classical scene backed by red silk, depicting three hunts men paying their respects, each in turn, to a statue of Apollo, to receive the blessing of the god to their hunt, outer chased floral and rocaille decoration. Double body inner, bassine, polished. Glazed shark skin covered protecting case. White enamel with Roman numerals and outer Arabic minute ring with arched divisions. Gold Louis XV hands. Hinged gilt brass full plate with pierced and chased pillars, fusee with chain, verge escapement, plain steel three-arm balance, flat balance spring and gilt brass Dutch style cock. Signed on the back plate. In very good condition. Diam. 57 mm. including the protecting case.
