Favre Leuba & Co. , Bombay, Swiss, made for the Indian market, circa 1870. Fine 18 ct. gold and enamel, diamond-set hunting cased, keyless watch. Four body, massive, "bassine", the scalloped band chased with a floral decoration, back and cover with scalloped edges and a diamond inlaid blue champleve enamelled decoration with vine leaf garlands. Oval glazed medallion inside the back. Gold cuvette engine-turned on the border. White enamel with Roman numerals and sunk subsidiary seconds. Gold "fleurs de lys" hands.
