Extremely fine 18 ct. gold end enamel, diamond-set, onyx, amber and emerald Art-Deco,eight day going time-piece with a dial in mother of pearl, in original fitted box with coloured photocopy of the original drawings by Verger. In foret of a monstrance, the base of onyx, the octagonal black enamelled gold frame supported by an amber stand with two rows of emerald beads. Gold mounted combination of different kinds of mother of pearl with engraved sphinx on the foreground, columns on the back. Applied diamond-set Arabic numerals on the bezel. Gold "serpent" hands. "Astral" 19-, nickel plated, 17 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, eight adjj]ustments, Breguet balance spring. Signed on the movement and on a small gold panel inlaid in the onyx base. In very good condition. Dim. 226 x 74 x 50 mm.
