Vacheron & Constantin, Genève, No. 444757, case No. 279595, completed on 20 November 1942, sold on 23 August 1943 to the British Royal Navy. Fine silver cased keyless deck-chronometer. Three body, massive, "bassine", polished, the Navy registration number engraved on the back. Silver cuvette. Matt silver with Arabic numerals and subsidiary seconds. Blued-steel " spade" hands.
