Later silver, glazed on both faces. White enamel with Roman numerals and subsidiary seconds (hair cracks). Blued steel Breguet hands. Inverted gilt brass full plate with polished steel back plate, fusee with chain, verge escapement, the verge driven by the balance by means of a roller with highly complicated safety device in order to enable the balance to be free when effecting its supplementary arc. Brass four-arm balance with poising screws, short helical balance spring with large bimetallic compensation curb screwed on the front plate. Signed on the dial and dial plate. In working order. Diam. 48 mm. Notes Very interesting attempt to transform a verge escapement into a detached escapement at a time the "draw" was not yet invented.
