Vacheron & Constantin, Genève, No. 357655, case No. 221482, completed in 1911, sold on 30 May 1921 to Mr. Patiola. Very fine and unique, 18 ct. gold and enamel "Art-Nouveau" keyless "Chronomètre Royal" dress watch. Three body, massive, "bassine pincée", bezel and band with painted enamel decoration over a black ground, the back enamelled with a finely painted tabor playing maiden in classical dress, dancing on a stage.
