Syren, Swiss, made for Hamilton & Co. Ltd, Calcutta, circa 1925. Fine 18 ct. gold and enamel Art-Deco, keyless dress-watch, in original fitted box. Three body, massive, "Empire", bezels and band with champleve enamelled decoration, the back enamelled with two parrots and lotus flowers, the reverse engraved with a dedication dated 1927. White enamel with Empire numerals and sunk subsidiary seconds. Blued steel Breguet hands. 16-, rhodium plated, spotted decoration, 18 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring with micrometric index. Signed on the dial and movement. In very good condition. Diam. 44 mm.
