Not signed, Swiss, circa 1820. Fine 18 ct. gold, quarter repeating musical watch. Three body, Empire with reeded band, the back engine-turned in a sun-burst pattern. Hinged gilt brass cuvette. White enamel with Breguet numerals. Blued steel Breguet hands. Gilt brass with engraved going barrel, inverted cylinder escapement with plain brass three-arm balance and flat balance spring. Pin-disc musical train playing on the hour or at will, the barrel engraved with foliage. Quarter-repeating on two gongs with visible work by depressing the pendant. In very good condition. Diam. 58 mm.
